VETT Notes for Editors and Journalists

VETT provides 21st century solutions to the problems of ensuring that secure transactions have been completed. VETT is determined to reverse conventional thinking and breakdown current doctrines regarding payment security by showing the payments market a new approach that cannot be hacked.

VETT is a new  way for two parties to conduct a secure transaction without either one using or exchanging  any private information.

Consumers do not need any special device or software to hamper their use, plus third factor authentication, together with multi-layered security, provide just some of the insurmountable obstacles that criminals will face in a VETT enabled world.

Think of VETT as a dedicated computer, or appliance, that securely receives, matches and transmits transaction messages ready for onward processing.

VETT (Verified Electronic Transaction Technology) was incorporated in June 2006. VETT’s primary role is to promote and licence IPR for its patented technology (patent granted in July 2004).

Managing Director and Creator of the VETT technology, Garry Gibson, has drawn together a group of seasoned professionals to bring the products to market.

VETT introduces a range of products designed specifically for remote transactions in general as opposed to the limited use demonstrated by many internet offerings. Access for all VETT products can be via Telephone, Mobile, Internet, and for real world transactions face-to-face. This new range of products and banking instruments will include:

  • Authorised Debit - a natural evolution for the direct debit system,
  • Identity Verification - users will be able to say ‘this is who I am’,
  • Remote Signature - enabling users to sign documents with a single phone call,
  • Remote Banking - access to your money by phone, mobile and internet.

The VETT management team would be very happy to discuss and comment upon any relevant industry issues that you may be contemplating
